Worcester County Fire Marshal

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire which destroyed an agricultural building located at 3515 Sheephouse Road in rural Pocomoke, Maryland. The fire was reported at 4:54PM on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Arriving firefighters found the structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Pocomoke and Stockton Volunteer Fire Companies, in Maryland and New Church and Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Companies in Virginia responded to the alarm. The structure was not in use and a dollar damage amount has not been estimated. There were some personal items damaged by the fire located around the exterior of the structure which has been estimated at $2,500. The fire is listed as undetermined and the investigation continues.
