Worcester County Fire Training Center

At the Worcester County Commissioner's meeting on August 16, 2005, the County Commissioners unanimously approved the construction of a new Volunteer Firemen's Training Center. The building will house a modern, up-to-date classroom and four engine bays. The engine bays will house equipment for the Worcester County Special Hazards Response Team. The building will measure approximately 118 ft x 40 ft (4720 square feet)

Thanks to the Newark Volunteer Fire Department for the burning of the existing training center. Pictures below are of the controlled burning.
