“Pocomoke House Destroyed in Late Night Fire”

 “The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office has investigated a fire that occurred at 508 Moore Street, Pocomoke City, Maryland.   The fire was discovered by an occupant of the home at 11:28 p.m.  That occupant along with another subject escaped the fire uninjured.  Arriving firefighters found the front section of the hosue completely engulfed with fire. The Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company extinguished the blaze with no problems.  The cause of the fire is blamed on the unsafe use of a portable electric heater.”
