Juvenile Charged in Connection with Fire in Pocomoke

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office has completed its investigation into the cause of a fire which occurred on April 4, 2008 at 1727 New Bridge Road, Pocomoke, Maryland 21851.

The Fire Marshal’s Office was requested by the Pocomoke Volunteer Fire Department for a fully involved vacant house fire.  The fire totally destroyed a two story dwelling.  The fire was determined to have been intentionally set or arson.

The Fire Marshal’s Office investigation resulted in identifying a juvenile with setting the fire. The juvenile has been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services.
