Suspicious Barn Fire in Berlin

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire which totally consumed a barn located at 11201 Gray’s Corner Road, Berlin, Maryland 21811.  The Saturday night, June 14, 2008, fire was reported at 10:20 p.m.  The dwelling located at this address was vacant at the time of the fire.  No injuries were reported.  Firefighters from the Berlin Volunteer Fire Company remained on the scene for approximately one hour.

 The Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire to be intentionally set or arson.  Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office at 410-632-5666, via our website at www.wcfmo.org, or the ARSON HOTLINE at 1-800-492-7529.
