Fire Damages a Restaurant in Ocean Pines

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire which damaged the exterior of the Vineyard in the Pines (address of 11033 Nicholas Lane, Ocean Pines, Maryland 21811).  The August 4, 2008 fire was reported at 10:24 pm.  The fire was quickly controlled by members of the Ocean Pines Police Department and the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Company.

The fire originated between the Vineyard in the Pines and Southside Deli.  The fire damaged a storage structure located in this area and caused radiant heat damage to the vinyl siding covering the Vineyard in the Pines.
