JUVENILES CHARGED IN FIRE AT STEPHEN DECATUR HIGH SCHOOL

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office has completed its investigation into the cause of a fire which occurred on February 27, 2008 in a restroom at Stephen Decatur High School.
    The Fire Marshal’s Office was requested by school administration after discovering an extinguished fire in a boy’s restroom at Stephen Decatur High School. Smoke extended from the restroom into the adjacent corridor. No fire department response was requested.
    The Fire Marshal’s Office investigation resulted in identifying two juveniles with setting the fire. Both juveniles have been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
