RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE IN POCOMOKE

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated a residential structure fire located at 404 Bonneville Avenue in Pocomoke, Maryland 21851.

Pocomoke Volunteer Fire Department units responded for a fire in a single-story residential structure. Upon arrival crews observed fire and smoke coming from the building.

An investigation showed the fire originated in a bedroom from an unattended curling iron.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is accidental.
