"Snow Hill Home Gutted By Morning Fire"

"The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office has investigated a fire which gutted a Snow Hill home earlier this morning. According to Fire Marshal Jeff McMahon, the Snow Hill Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched at 10:18 to a reported house fire at 6912 Ayres Lane Road. Arriving units reported heavy smoke showing. The fire was quickly extinguished. No one was in the house at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. Snow Hill was assisted by the Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company. Both companies remained on the scene for 45 minutes. The house is owned by David and Tammy Pollock. The cause of the fire is listed as accidental and blamed on a faulty cooking appliance."
